Operational software built from the work itself.
North Parade, LLC is a Connecticut software company developing practical systems for inventory, service operations, and customer-facing environments. We are a young company, but the work is already moving beyond ideas: products are in customer use, prototypes are in active pilot deployment, and new systems are being tested against real operational requirements.
Why North Parade Exists
North Parade did not begin with a software category and then look for customers to fit it. The systems grew from operational problems: keeping track of inventory and parts, managing service work, and giving customers useful information without constantly interrupting the people doing the work.
Those problems became Hazegrey IMS, Deckplate SOS, and Deckhand Dave. Different products, but with the same underlying idea: understand the operation first, then build software around it.
Understand the Operation First
North Parade starts with the work: how inventory moves, how service jobs progress, how employees use information, where customers get stuck, and where existing systems create unnecessary friction.
That means local-first operation where it makes sense, controlled workflows instead of unnecessary complexity, and systems designed around the people who actually use them. The software follows from the operation—not the other way around.
Who You Are Working With
North Parade was founded by Patrick, a U.S. Navy veteran with a background spanning hands-on technical work, service operations, software development, and cybersecurity.
That background shapes how the company approaches software. The goal is not to build impressive demos or force every business into the same process. It is to understand what people are trying to accomplish, build something useful around that work, and remain directly involved as the system is tested, deployed, and improved.
Support That Helped Us Move Forward
North Parade has been fortunate to receive support from Work Vessels for Veterans, a Connecticut nonprofit whose mission is to equip injured veterans with the tools and equipment they need to start businesses or pursue career education.
Work Vessels for Veterans provided grant support toward the physical Deckhand Dave prototype kiosks, helping us take the project from software development into physical systems that could be placed into real-world dealership testing.
We are grateful for what they have done for North Parade and, more importantly, for the work they continue to do for veteran entrepreneurs across the country.

Where We Are Going
The goal is not to build the largest possible catalog of software. North Parade is building a focused family of operational systems, improving them through real customer use, and expanding into service, repair, inventory, and customer-facing environments where those systems solve genuine problems.
North Parade Labs gives us a place to investigate ideas that are not ready to become products yet—without confusing experimentation with what is commercially available today.
